The Sephora Savings Event is a must for anyone looking for quality beauty products at great prices. It’s a sale that takes place a few times a year and offers you a percentage discount on all your purchases. This percentage is determined by your status as a Beauty Insider – Sephora’s membership program. What’s more, there’s a 30% discount (for everyone) on all products from Sephora Collection.
The sale is open to all, all you need to be is a member of the Beauty Insider program – which is totally free.

How do we evolve from one tier to another?
It’s very simple! The more you spend per year, the higher your status. So everyone is a Beauty Insider, but if you spend more than a certain amount per year, you move up the ladder.
The Sephora Savings Event takes place from April 5th to 15th, 2024 using the code YAYSAVE.

Before I get started, I have to make a little disclaimer. The skincare part is the most complex because what’s good for me, won’t necessarily be good for you. We all have different issues, so I’ll give you a little context for my skin. I have have a normal skin type, i’m dehydrated, i have textured skin that lacks radiance with a pigmentation spot on my cheek and a few fine lines on my forehead. I don’t have sensitive skin and I don’t really get pimples (I do get the occasional one, of course!). Now that that’s out of the way, here are my favorite Sephora skin care products:
You may have heard about this product on social networks – it’s quite trendy! I have to say, I can see why, as I really like it. It’s a chemical exfoliant that removes dead skin cells and smoothes the skin (perfect for my textured skin!). I use it about 2 times a week.
This is not a product I use every day. It’s the moisturizer I apply before putting on my makeup. It’s not too rich and it moisturizes my skin perfectly. It’s water-based and I find it perfect for days when I wear makeup.
This exfoliant is incredible if you prefer something that exfoliates mechanically. The particles are super-fine, so they’re not at all harsh on the skin, but still exfoliate deeply. It’s in powder form, so all you have to do is add water to the palm of your hand.
This self-tanner is a classic! It gives you a great tan (that’s not orange) and doesn’t smell too strong. It’s a must-have if you’re looking for an effective self-tanning mousse.
If you’re looking for a good basic moisturizer at an affordable price, look no further! It’s moisturizing and non-sticky.
I really like this Dermalogica moisturizer! It’s super hydrating, traps water in the skin and I find that it also smoothes my skin.
A super-pleasant product to apply before going to bed. You put it on like a mask and wake up to hydrated, plump skin bursting with moisture.
This product targets dark circles of all colors to eliminate them. It’s also moisturizing and acts as a great base under makeup!
I don’t understand why I’ve rarely heard of this foundation! It offers a second-skin effect and gives a natural look while having medium coverage. Plus, it’s 30% off!
We hear about this primer everywhere! Makeup sticks really well to it and it makes it last all day!
I discovered this concealer last year and fell in love with it! It’s light yet gives a great coverage. It’s also modulable without being patchy, it’s really a must!
I am OBSESSED with this product! The finish is simply incredible! To be honest, my makeup tends to look a little cakey and this product completely removes that effect! My makeup looks natural and glowy, it’s amazing!!
I’ve always loved this blush, which has been a classic for a really long time! I love wearing it in summer for its glowy look that really makes you look healthy and glowing.
This CC cream is my favourite foundation! It’s also like a second-skin effect, but with a glow like no other! Your skin but better? Yes, it really lives up to its name!!
Another blush I’ve loved for years! It’s a beautiful peach shade that looks good on everyone and at every time of year. It’s from a Quebec company that I really love!
I love this complexion brush! Both tips are really great for applying foundation or concealer in a natural but also covering way.
If you haven’t tried Summer Fridays’ famous lip balms yet, what are you waiting for? They’re incredible! The texture, the glossy finish, the comfort, the odour, it’s all 10/10!
I also really like this lip balm! It’s super comfortable on the lips and has a nice shine, but it’s lighter than the Summer Fridays ones.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a big fan of lip balm haha! I’ve been putting this one on my lips every night before bed for about 3 years now. I just love it! I always wake up with super moisturized lips.
Yes, this balm deserves its place here twice! It’s that good! I have no choice but to include this color as well. As someone who has pale lips, I love wearing this balm, which just adds a little color and life to it.
I really like this eyebrow pencil, which is really easy to use. It gives a nice natural result very quickly. It’s also super precise.
I love the warm shades in this palette, which is also very pigmented. It’s great for natural looks, but also for more glamorous looks.
This dry shampoo is the best! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s super effective. It absorbs all the sebum, and best of all, it doesn’t leave a white residue or a crunchy effect!
My hair is super fine so it’s hard to find an oil that doesn’t weigh it down. This product is great! It moisturizes my hair, but doesn’t make it greasy at all.
This mask is the ultimate must-have for your hair! If your hair is even slightly damaged, you NEED this product. Honestly, it’s simply amazing and it transformed my hair. It looks so much better, my ends are much less split and it’s so much softer and shinier. My hair is definitely healthier since I’m using this product!
